Although it looks like a large DSLR, it will fit comfortably in the palm of my hand and is not too intrusive for street photography.
On recent holidays I got rather tired lugging around my Nikon D3 and additional lenses, so I decided it was time to get a lighter system for general travel purposes. After some research and advice from other photographers I opted for the Olympus micro four thirds system. I chose an Olympus O-MD E-M5 which gives good image quality and is small and light to carry around all day. First impressions are that it will do the job just fine for general travel photography but I will continue to use my Nikon for important work including wildlife.
