I recently discovered an intriguing wood on Dartmoor. It is called WISTMAN's WOOD and gets its name for an ancient word for "haunted". It is only one of three remaining examples up upland woodland on Dartmoor and is full of twisted trees growing through an area covered in large granite boulders. You can see my photos in the DARTMOOR Page of this website.
