London Zoo is located beside Regents Park and although compact in size, holds a good variety of animals. Many are pretty common but some are more unusual. We were delighted to find that three tiger cubs had been born there last year and were on display.

CHEETAH The cheetahs at London Zoo were particularly fine examples in peak condition.
SERVAL A fairly rare animal to see. Unfortunately, not in a great place to photograph.

KOMODO DRAGON Although I have seen them on TV, I was immediately impressed by their size in real life. They are huge.
THREE-TOED SLOTH Sleeping - as sloths tend to do !

SILVERBACK GORILLA Kumbukha was born in Belfast Zoo in 1997
SUMATRAN TIGERS The zoo has two adults and three cubs. All sleeping and not prowling I'm afraid.
