This year the Devon County Show was blessed with sunny weather, a complete change from last year when heavy rain forced cancellation of most of the show. There is a wide variety of exhibits to be seen, so I hope you enjoy my selection....
FOOD & DRINK
Cheese - this is how cheese looks before it is sliced and presented in smaller portions
A Local Crab - I was brave enough to hold it too !
Students at Exeter College show off their bread baking skills - They are only in it for the dough !
A Hog Roast - not in great taste since the prize pigs were on display nearby !
SHEEP
I was amazed that there was such a wide variety in the breeds of sheep. All bred to suit a particular landscape of Britain or a particular market (meat or wool). There seemed to be great pride in the displays.

Crook - The stick, not the person ! No sheep farmer would be without their crook for handling their sheep. This is a typical resting pose.
Sheep Shearing Competition - men and women compete to see who can shear the most sheep within a given time.
PIGS
Again there were several varieties of pigs on display.
GOATS
LLOVELY LLAMAS !
DOGS
Xoloitzcuintle or Mexican Hairless Dog
PEOPLE
A very helpful and knowledgeable horse expert.
Blacksmith's don't normally make as many sparks as this, but I wanted a little drama, so he kindly obliged !
The BBC were there to cover the show. This is our beautiful local news presenter NATALIE CORNAH hard at work.
