Another photo taken at the Tamar Otter Sanctuary, but this time by my wife. This is an example of how to turn a poor photo into a good one. Unfortunately the left side of the owl had been cut off in the original photo but the main focal point of the owl, it's eyes, were very clear. Macaws are found in northern South America and Mexico. Their powerful beaks can crack brazil nut shells and they eat by holding their food with their claw.
